If you're planning a London vacay to soak up the sun in the city and don't know where to go, no worries, Louise Golbey got you.

Best places to shop?
Carnaby Street, Oxford Street and oddly enough, Selbys on Holloway Road. It's a small-ish department store, but has all the normal high street concessions in it, and it's nice and local to me!

Where to eat?
I like all sorts of food. I'd say Kingly Court (off Carnaby Street) is a great place. It is a lovely open air courtyard and has loads of different types of restaurants.

Best clubs?
Marketplace Jazz Cafe (after gigs), The Social etc.

Things that are poppin' in general?
I love hanging out on The Southbank - especially in the summer when the weather is nice. Great to be by the river. But there are always arts and music events going on there all year round...
